Bucklebury Farm and Deer safari Park offers a magical experience and a great day out in the countryside for all the family. A working farm is 77-acres of magical haven and in the heart of beautiful Royal Berkshire. The farmyard is home to a small herd of rare breed Berkshire pigs, Dexter cattle, ponies, donkeys, poultry, Anglo-Nubian goats, guinea fowl and reindeer. There are four different breeds including Fallow, Red deer, Axis and Sika. Tractor rides and deer safaris offer visitors unique access to the deer.

You can go on a nature trail and walk over the stream, flowers and wildlife. In the spring you can feed the baby lambs. The adventure playground is great for the kids, there is also a great indoor area with drop slides and soft play. The go-karts, den-building and obstacle course will keep the kids entertained for hours.

Dinton Pastures Country Park is an award winning park that offers events and activities for all. If you enjoy water sports you can hire a boat, kayaks, paddleboards, and canoes or you can and join in the activities. Or you can walk around 450 acres of beautiful lakes, meadows and woodland. A great place to have a picnic or you can grab a bite to eat and a well deserved rest at the Dragonfly cafe. You can hire a segway and head off into hurst meadow and attempt the obstacles.

If you enjoy orienteering Dinton Pastures has a 30 control point course, a great way to explore the beautiful 400 acre site, enjoy the great outdoors!

The Mad House Soft Play and Party World

The Mad House is Reading’s premier soft play and party centre near the Hillingdon Prince Hotel. A place to let your children run wild, they can explore the activity frame, they can use the rope bridges and whoosh down the slides. The construction play zone, four lane astra slide, a sports activity area and slide runner. They can run through the tunnels. The under 4s have a separate area, with rope bridges, ball pond and slides.
